At the gate, we bid farewell to our mountain guide and return to Moshi or Arusha, concluding your unforgettable 1-day Kilimanjaro hike via the Marangu Route.

Detailed itinerary  of 1 day Mount kilimanjaro hike

• Mount Kilimanjaro A single day Hiking Trip Itinerary 0700 Hours: You will be collected from your hotel and transported to Marangu, the entrance to Mt. Kilimanjaro National Park (1970 meters).
• At the designated time, you will encounter our seasoned guide at the gate, who will provide a concise overview of the hike. You will trek for around 3-4 hours to reach the first hut (Mandara Hut), arriving in the afternoon.
• 1330 Hours: Lunch will be provided upon your arrival at the hut. The hut offers an excellent vantage point over the Moshi district.
• 1430 Hours: Following your lunch, your guide will lead you on a little stroll to Maundi Crater before proceeding to descend to Marangu Gate. You will descend to Marangu Gate, a journey that will need around 2 hours at a leisurely pace, allowing you to notice everything you may have overlooked during your ascent.
• 1630 Hours: At Marangu National Park, you will meet the transportation from the hotel prepared to return you to the lodge.
