3 days Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater

Day 1 - Arusha to Central Serengeti

Your safari will commence at 8 AM with a pickup from your hotel in Arusha. Once all individuals are on board, you will go to Serengeti National Park. The 240 km journey will be completed in around 6 hours. The Serengeti, meaning “endless plains” in the local African language, offers a spectacular vista as the grassland extends infinitely, merging with the sky at the horizon. Covering a total land area of 14,763 square kilometers, it challenges our perception of distance. The Serengeti is home to the magnificent “Big 5” (elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo, lion, and leopard). In addition to the “Big 5,” a highly enjoyable encounter would be one of Africa’s most exquisite animals – the Impala. The Serengeti habitat sustains the highest residual density of plains game in Africa. Serengeti National Park is a preeminent safari destination, recognized for its remarkable populations of lions and leopards. The Seronera area, located in the central region of the Serengeti, is one of the most abundant wildlife habitats inside the park. The Seronera River serves as a vital water source for the region, thereby attracting a diverse array of wildlife representative of the majority of Serengeti species. In Seronera, it is essential to be vigilant for the numerous lion prides that flourish in this area. Additionally, you should be vigilant for the Serengeti “Kopjes,” which are enormous granite rocks rising amidst a vast expanse of grass. They offer substantial refuge to a diverse array of vegetation and fauna. A picnic lunch will be provided throughout the all-day game drive. The interesting day concludes with a substantial dinner and a restful night in your lodging.

Day 2 - Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Following breakfast, you will embark on a morning wildlife drive in Serengeti National Park. Subsequently, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater is the largest collapsed volcano caldera globally, encompassing fourteen kilometers of pristine natural splendor. The Ngorongoro Crater is encircled by a ring of extinct volcanoes, and its floor, interspersed with watering holes, harbors some 30,000 species. The day concludes with a substantial dinner and a restful night in your lodging.

Day 3 - Ngorongoro Crater Excursion (5 hours) to Arusha

On the final day of your safari, an early commencement is required. After a brief breakfast, you will commence an early descent to the crater floor at approximately 6:30 AM. The Ngorongoro Crater is the biggest dormant, undamaged, and unfilled volcanic crater globally. It possesses an extensive floor measuring approximately 260 square kilometers and a depth of over 2000 feet. A five-hour game drive on the crater floor will reveal extensive animal activity. It is advisable to maintain the camera in a state of readiness. African elephants, buffalo, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions are abundant. Following a picnic lunch by the picturesque Hippo pool, you will commence a difficult ascent to the crater’s upper exit. This is the final stage of your safari, requiring a four-hour journey back to Arusha. You will be transported to your chosen location in Arusha by 6:00 PM. With an extraordinary experience and numerous memories to treasure, this is the moment you farewell your team.
