4 days Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater safari commences in Arusha, encompassing a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater and an exploration of the Seronera region within Serengeti National Park. You will participate in a game drive in Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park, seeking diverse animal species including elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, and impalas, among others. Flamingos will also be observed during your safari in the Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 1:Transfer from Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater
Day 1 of 4 days Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater safari, Your guide will get you from your hotel in Arusha and greet you for your safari. You will travel from Arusha to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Ngorongoro Crater is the biggest dormant caldera globally, created by volcanic activity. Diverse wildlife species observable on safaris surrounding the crater include elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, and buffaloes, in addition to avian species such as flamingos. You will participate in a game drive following a descent of approximately 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater.
While traversing the Ngorongoro Crater, you will appreciate the stunning vistas and observe various animal species, including wildebeests, zebras, rhinos, cheetahs, buffalos, lions, leopards, hippos, waterbucks, antelopes, gazelles, impalas, elands, among others. Flamingos can also be observed near the beaches of Lake Magadi in the Ngorongoro Crater. You will dine and spend the night at Rhino Ngorongoro Lodge.
Day 2: Explore Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Serengeti national park
Following breakfast, you will be transported to Serengeti National Park, where you will partake in an afternoon game drive to explore the savannah plains and observe various wildlife species, including wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, elephants, buffalos, hippos, cheetahs, leopards, lions, and others.
During your Tanzania safari, you will appreciate the stunning landscapes in the middle region of Serengeti National Park as you traverse the area. Following your afternoon wildlife drive in Serengeti National Park, you will head to the campground for dinner and an overnight stay at Serengeti Heritage deluxe tented camps and lodges.
Day 3: Explore Serengeti and transfer to Karatu
You will partake in breakfast prior to your morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, as you traverse the savannah plains and ready yourself for the journey from Seronera to Karatu. While driving from the campsite, you will encounter several wildlife species, including elephants, antelopes, zebras, giraffes, hippos, waterbucks, hyenas, and lions.
You will go to your lodge in Karatu for check-in, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at Eileen’s Tree Inn.
Day 4: Karatu to Arusha
You will have breakfast while preparing for your journey back to Arusha, where your guide will drop you off at the airport, concluding your Tanzania wildlife safari.
