Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your guide/driver  from All Tanzania Safaris will welcome you and transport you to your reserved hotel in Arusha, where you will receive a briefing regarding your 10 Days Tanzania Wildlife Tour.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park

Subsequent to breakfast, we shall proceed to Lake Manyara National Park via vehicle. The national park features giant fig trees and mahogany trees located in the groundwater forest adjacent to the park entrances.

They derive sustenance from the subterranean springs that are always fed by the crater highlands situated just above the Manyara basin. In addition to its renowned tree-climbing lions and baboons, Lake Manyara and its surroundings also host herbivores including hippos, impalas, elephants, wildebeests, buffalo, warthogs, and giraffes.

Day 3, 4&5: Transfer to Serengeti National Park and Game drives

Subsequent to breakfast, leave Manyara and traverse to the boundless grasslands of the Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Crater. You will have half a day and two full days to see the migration. The Serengeti is the oldest and most renowned national park, particularly noted for its yearly migration of wildebeest, accompanied by zebras and Thomson’s gazelles, in search of fresh grazing grounds. The Serengeti is home to various wildlife, including buffalo, giraffe, eland, topi, kongoni, impala, Grant’s gazelle, lion, cheetah, leopard, and African jackal.

Day 6: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater

Following breakfast, you will prepare packed lunches and depart for Ngorongoro, with a stop at Olduvai Gorge, the renowned archeological site associated with the findings of Louis and Mary Leakey, as well as a visit to the Masai Boma settlement to gain insight into Masai customs and traditions. The duration of the travel is three hours.

Day 6: Explore Ngorongoro Crater

Subsequent to breakfast, descend the steep inclines of this impressive crater for an entire day of game driving. The Ngorongoro Crater is among the most densely populated wildlife regions in Africa, housing over 30,000 species, including some of Tanzania’s few remaining black rhinos.

Be vigilant for wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, and Giant African elephants, as well as a substantial population of predators, including lions. We will partake in a picnic lunch on the crater floor, followed by a game drive that will continue until late dark, when we return to the hotel.

Day 8: Transfer from Ngorongoro to Tarangire National Park

Following breakfast and equipped with a packed lunch, proceed to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its tree-climbing lions, colossal baobab trees, and substantial elephant populations. Tarangire National Park, albeit modest in size, hosts a substantial wildlife population, with a density comparable only to that of Ngorongoro.

Day 9: Game Drives – Tarangire National Park

Post-breakfast, proceed to the park for an entire day of game driving. Observe herds of elephants, as well as anticipate sightings of zebra, eland, mongoose, giraffe, bushbuck, hartebeest, impala, warthog, and reedbuck. Numerous carnivores are prevalent throughout the park, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals. Relish the drive till late evening, after which you will return to your lodge for a picturesque sundowner, dinner, and repose.
